In 1804, John Bell and his wife Lucy to pack their belongings in North Carolina to move to
Tennessee together with their nine children. It was supposed to be the beginning of a beautiful and
peaceful of their daily life since John bought a piece of land that if the calculated ranges of more
than 300 acres.
Unfortunately, during the times of the purchase, he was at odds with its neighbor Kate Batts. Kate
convinced that John had cheated to get the land, and she would never forgive him. Since then the
legend begins.
Kate Batts then died around 1817, on his bed still condemned by John. She vowed that she would
haunt the Bell family and all his descendants.
In early 1817, the Bell family began to feel strange happenings in their home. Begins with a
sound. the sound of clapping and scratches on the walls, no longer audible whisper. The noise was
getting bigger and bigger and bigger until it could be identified as an old woman's voice but still no
words that can be captured.
Then physical activity then occurs in the Bell family such as clothes or blankets they pulled and
shifted when asleep. Even three of the children were sleeping Bell in the same bed ever woken up in
the night and screamed because they see their sleeping clothes pulled by an invisible figure.
From there the Bell family no longer know what to do. Their goods are in the house or around their
property stolen or lost by itself. Their children were slapped and pinched. At night, the wood
foundation of the house there is a sound bite, and strange animals can be seen in the yard.
Surprisingly, this ghost paranormal activity from the most frequent and most violent experienced by
John Bell and daughter Betsy (Elizabeth). Shouts a result tortured two of them seemed to bring
pleasure to the ghosts. She would laugh when Betsy cry, or make John look uncomfortable.
Soon it became quite clear voice for the family to catch what she said. Repeatedly voice said it
would kill John Bell, and at times will target other family members.
Shortly from there, and Betsy was attacked while asleep. She woke up feeling cuts and bruises on his
body. Do not know what to do, John Bell and invited her friend James Johnson for dinner as well

disclosed. John tried to seek refuge in the religious parties, but they turn a blind eye because of this
incident may be related to magic and magicians.
People flock to the Bell home just to see it, or maybe experience it for yourself. Witch rose looks like
it wants to be known, but never appeared, just always heard. She was never rude or bold on visitors,
and even a time will offer his hand for a handshake.
The next story may be difficult to digest, but it reportedly continues to rotate among the public when
it was. General Andrew Jackson (7th presidential candidate USA) even gather some friends and
make a visit on the ground that in Adams, Tennessee just to feel the paranormal activity. He himself
was not able to conclude whether it was just a hoax, or really anything that is haunted.
Jackson's group then headed home Bell, brought a number of tents, purposes and other items in a
cart. When they approached the house, the cart suddenly stopped himself and no one can make it
move. Wheels removed and examined, but it seems that everything is fine and should be able to
function. Jackson, in the midst of this confusion, then threw a joke that this incident must act witch
call loudly to be heard throughout the land owned by the Bell family. "Well General, run the cart, and
I'll see you tonight." A voice say it. Just then cart it back running and they continued their journey.
General Andrew Jackson and her group plan to stay for a week, but ended up leaving the next day.
Experiencing any strange occurrences, they could not prove that this news is just a hoax. They also
pinched, slapped, and their hair pulled, when Betsy Bell screaming in pain because of the bruises
that arise as a result of actions of the witch. Jackson story of the Bell family home did not appear on
her own, but from a variety of sources.
Bell Family stay in their homes during the period, without ever moving.
On October 1820, John Bell fell ill, and many believe this stroke disease given by the wizard.
Although he can still continue to work, he spent more time in bed. In December he did not wake up
again in his sleep. Drugs that sent him there, but when examined showed something strange. Witch it
seems to replace the drug with poison, and of course cause John died.
John died at the age of 70 years the right that the wicked witch was anticipated. The witch then could
be heard singing with jolly moments of the funeral of John, and continues to be heard by family
members and their friends.
The following year, 1821, witch was then told that she would go away. It happened when she
managed to make Betsy Bell breakup with boyfriend and friend of his childhood, and the witch also
said she would return seven years later.
In 1828, according to his promise, the witch is back. This time she appeared to John Bell Jr. son of
John Bell. She gave Bell Jr. a vision and predictions about the future. And before she left again, this
witch said that she would back a century later, exactly in 1935.
Never mind whether or not she kept her promise.
Bell near the family home there is a cave known as the Bell Witch Cave. People who went there told
